2.1 When you use our website for purely informational purposes, i.e., if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called "server log files"). When you access our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display the website:

  • Our visited website
  • Date and time at the time of access
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source/reference from which you accessed the page
  • Browser used

The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. 3) Contacting Us

3.1 WhatsApp Business

We offer visitors to our website the opportunity to contact us via the messaging service WhatsApp, provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. For this purpose, we use the so-called "Business version" of WhatsApp.

If you contact us via WhatsApp for a specific transaction (e.g., an order), we will store and use the mobile phone number you use on WhatsApp, as well as - if provided - your first and last name, in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR to process and respond to your request. On the same legal basis, we may request additional data from you via WhatsApp (e.g., order number, customer number, address, or email address) to assign your request to a specific transaction.

If you use our WhatsApp contact for general inquiries (e.g., regarding our range of services, availability, or our website), we store and use the mobile phone number you use on WhatsApp as well as - if provided - your first and last name in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in efficiently and promptly providing the requested information.

Your data will always be used exclusively to answer your inquiry via WhatsApp. It will not be passed on to third parties.

Please note that WhatsApp Business obtains access to the address book of the mobile device we use for this purpose and automatically transfers the telephone numbers stored in the address book to a server of the parent company Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. For the operation of our WhatsApp Business account, we use a mobile device in whose address book only the WhatsApp contact data of users who have also contacted us via WhatsApp are stored.

This ensures that each person whose WhatsApp contact details are stored in our address book has already consented to the transfer of their WhatsApp phone number from the address books of their chat contacts in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR by accepting the WhatsApp Terms of Use when using the app on their device for the first time. The transfer of data from users who do not use WhatsApp and/or have not contacted us via WhatsApp is therefore excluded.

For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by WhatsApp, as well as your rights in this regard and settings options for protecting your privacy, please refer to WhatsApp's privacy policy: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/?eea=1#privacy-policy

As part of the above processing, data may be transferred to servers of Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. For data transfers to the USA, the provider has adhered to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which, based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European level of data protection.

3.2 When contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email), personal data will be processed exclusively for the purpose of handling and responding to your request and only to the extent required for that purpose. The legal basis for the processing of these data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. If your contact aims at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR. Your data will be deleted when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively resolved and provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.

4) Data Processing for Order Processing

4.1 To the extent necessary for the contract's execution for delivery and payment purposes, the personal data collected by us will be forwarded to the commissioned transport company and the commissioned credit institution in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

If we owe you updates for goods with digital elements or digital products on the basis of a corresponding contract, we process the contact data you provide when placing the order (name, address, email address) in order to personally inform you about upcoming updates within the legally prescribed period via a suitable communication channel (e.g., by post or email) in accordance with our statutory information obligations pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. c GDPR. Your contact details will be processed strictly for the purpose of notifications about updates owed by us and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.

To process your order, we also work with the following service provider(s), who partially or entirely support us in fulfilling concluded contracts. Certain personal data will be transmitted to these service providers in accordance with the following information.

4.2 To fulfill our contractual obligations to our customers, we work with external shipping partners. We only pass on your name and delivery address and, if necessary, your telephone number, to the shipping partner selected by us exclusively for the purpose of delivering goods in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR.

5) Website Functionalities

Google Maps

This website uses an online map service provided by: Google Maps (API) by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").

Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land) maps to visually represent geographic information. The use of this service will show you our location and make any route planning easier.

When you access subpages in which the Google Maps map is embedded, information about your use of our website (e.g., your IP address) is transmitted to and stored on Google servers; this may also involve transmission to Google LLC. servers in the USA. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account that you are logged into or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not wish this association with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them.

The collection, storage, and evaluation are carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR based on Google's legitimate interest in displaying personalized advertising, market research, and/or designing Google websites to meet needs. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise this right. If you do not agree with the future transmission of your data to Google in the context of the use of Google Maps, it is also possible to completely deactivate the web service of Google Maps by turning off the JavaScript application in your browser. Google Maps and, thus, the map display on this website cannot be used.

Where legally required, we have obtained your consent for the above-described processing of your data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your revocation, please follow the previously described possibility to make an objection.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has adhered to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which, based on an adequacy decision by the European Commission, ensures compliance with the European level of data protection.

IF WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA AS PART OF A BALANCING OF INTERESTS ON THE BASIS OF OUR OVERRIDING LEGITIMATE INTEREST, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT TO THIS PROCESSING AT ANY TIME WITH EFFECT FOR THE FUTURE ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION.

IF YOU EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO OBJECT, WE WILL STOP PROCESSING THE DATA CONCERNED. HOWEVER, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CONTINUE PROCESSING IF WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS.

If there are statutory retention periods for data that is processed within the scope of legal or similar obligations on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, this data will be routinely deleted after the retention periods have expired, provided that it is no longer required for contract fulfillment or contract initiation and/or we no longer have a legitimate interest in further storage.

When processing personal data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, this data is stored until you exercise your right to object in accordance with Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
